Beijing International Photography Week 2023

This year marks the tenth anniversary of the joint construction of the “Belt and Road” initiative .

From October 17th to 18th, the “Belt and Road” International Cooperation Summit Forum was held in Beijing.

As one of the brand exhibitions of Beijing International Photography Week, the 2023 “View·Appreciation” joint exhibition of the works of the presidents of ten national photography organizations will be held at the China Millennium Monument from October 21st to 29th .

This exhibition focuses on the 10th anniversary of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative and invites works by the presidents of photography organizations from ten “Belt and Road” countries including the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Bahrain, Morocco, Iraq, Algeria, and Jordan. Exhibition.

The exhibition selects more than 200 excellent photographs, showing the beautiful scenery, humanistic customs, and intangible cultural heritage of more than 10 Arab countries such as the Middle East and North Africa. The works have distinctive themes, unique styles, mysterious moods, and rich Arab national customs and charm. .

The exhibition invites the International Union of Photographers (GPU) as its international organizer and brings GPU member international photography boutiques to the exhibition, thereby further internationalizing the exhibition from content to organizational structure and achieving true integration with the international community.

The exhibition is organized by Shangtufang, with Shangtufang art consultant Guo Chen serving as the curator. It will be displayed on the first floor of the China Millennium Monument Comprehensive Exhibition Hall in Beijing from October 21 to October 29, 2023. Everyone is welcome to visit. exhibition.
